From Healing Hands to Healing Art.

My Story

I spent 40 years as a Family Nurse Practitioner caring for veterans, patients, and families. Art always called me— as a teen in Texas I won a regional art prize—but life put it aside for nursing, marriage, and raising three children. I retired in November 2024, picked up the brush again, joined the Milan Art Mastery Program, and realized I’d always been an artist. I now paint jazz musicians, wildlife, portraits, ocean scenes, and pets—each piece full of color, feeling, and story.
